 Jijona's soft nougat is a nougat made with almonds, sugar, honey and mostly egg. The base ingredient is marcona almond. It can be refined or granulated. It is the soft nougat of all life, but protected by the Designation of Origin Jijona - Alicante and also, with Geographical Indication Protected by the European Union.
