Description
'Raventós i Blanc de Nit Reserva Brut Rosat is a sparkling wine made by Raventós i Blanc, a winery founded in 1986 and located in Sant Sadurní d''Anoia, in the center of the Alt Penedès wine-growing area. This cava is a blend of grapes of the Macabeu, Xarel lo, Parellada and Monastrell varieties from 3 estates: La Plana, La Barbera and El Llac. La Plana is a farm planted on clay-loam soil from which we will obtain Xarel·lo and Macabeo. The Barbera is found on silty loam soil in which Parellada is grown. Lastly, El Llac is a Monastrell estate located on the low terraces of the north-western orientation of the Serral hill. Very elegant color at first sight, pulling on an onion skin. Very nice and deliciously dynamic bubble. On the nose Point of red fruit contributed by the Monastrell variety. Of very marked aging, it brings exceptional memories. Memories of citrus fruits and Mediterranean aromatic herbs. Taste Entry with a greasy sensation that gives way to freshness. Predominance of toasting from aging: vanilla, pastries and toasted almonds. It is recommended to serve at 8ºC in appetizers.'
